Tom commenced his career as a graduate engineer with I&E Systems in 1998. Originally from Cork, Ireland, Tom started working with I&E Systems from the Irish office, primarily in the pharmaceutical industry as a control systems engineer.
He built a reputation for delivering full lifecycle projects from concept design to operational handover with significant periods spend on site commissioning hardware and software for DCS/PLC/SCADA systems.
Tom relocated to Australia in 2008 to work on some large-scale mining and Oil & Gas projects where he eventually took on the role as Engineering Manager in 2019 after over 20 years experience with I&E Systems.
Tom is a TUV Rheinland registered Functional Safety Engineer and participates in Functional Safety Audits and Assessments for various Clients.
